Our Hong Kong team re-locates to the achingly photogenic Quarry Bay area

Our Hong Kong team recently made a successful move to their new studio in the Quarry Bay area of Hong Kong. With its unique architecture – an amazing mixture of old and new buildings – the area allows for stunning night photography and is a stark contrast to the typical Hong Kong skyline we had in the Sheung Wan district. Quarry Bay area is an interesting and creative place to explore, so if you are in the area feel free to visit the team at the new studio!

Here are some thoughts about the new location and studio from our Hong Kong team, and a handful of pictures from the opening party.

Ivy Cheng – Office Manager
“It’s definitely more interactive and has a more comfortable working environment. The area is also full of energy and creativity, which I love.”

David Kerr – Senior Industrial Design Engineer
“The new studio has a very dynamic and interactive feel to it. It’s also nice to work in an environment where we’ve had input into the design and layout of the space. This makes it feel like ‘our’ studio.”

Vicky Hui – Senior Designer and Researcher
“I love the natural lightness of the new design studio which is located on Island East – where all the creative sprouts hang out.”

Oliver Breit – Managing Director Asia
“Spacious, energetic and inspiring.”

Jaman Lam – Industrial Designer
“Nice working environment and facilities. I feel relaxed working here.”

Karsten Fischer – CEO
“We have swapped a stunning harbour view in an office tower for a fabulous factory conversion in Quarry Bay. Loving the new space. High ceilings. Different break out spaces. Time to relocate to Hong Kong.”
