London studio placements
Industrial Design (ID) – this placement is taken for 2017/18; we’ll recruit for 2018/19 in May 2018.
Technical Design (TD) – this placement is taken for 2017/18; we’ll recruit for 2018/19 in May 2018.
Our placement programmes for undergraduates last for 45 weeks, from the late summer/early autumn onwards.
You’ll be up against some tough competition if you apply, but don’t let that stop you. As long as you can demonstrate – not just talk about – your passion for design or engineering, and can stand out from the crowd (without the aid of make-up, hairstyling or clothes), you’ll have a chance. You’ll also need to get on with the team, while also offering us a new dimension or perspective.
We won’t know about this mysterious ‘X-factor’ until we meet you. But to get that far – and for us to consider your application at all – we need to see your best work. Show us what makes you proud when you get in touch.
What’s on the menu?
As part of our design team, you’ll become fully immersed in projects for global brands across consumer, industrial, medical and service sectors.
You’ll get mentoring and training from our talented team, exposure to our insight and design processes, and as much responsibility as you can handle.
Are you up to the job?
We welcome applications from undergraduates studying:
– Industrial/Product Design (or similar) for our ID placements
– Product Design Engineering/Mechanical Engineering for our TD placements
We always receive a high volume of applications for these placements, and we carefully consider every one. However, we can only get in touch if we select you for interview. Please don’t call up asking for a progress report on your application – if you haven’t heard back from us within three weeks of the closing date, it means we’re not pursuing your application. If this is the case, thanks for your interest and good luck in the future.
