Sophie Billie Brahe’s finely crafted gold jewellery was beautifully presented, adding importance and elevated status to her pieces. Fine, dainty and preciously conceived rings gave juxtaposing messages, being tough, while deeply feminine at the same time.

Erickson Beamon are having ‘a moment’, having their jewellery featured in arguably one of Vogue’s best shoots of the last year worn on Karlie Kloss. Their grandma’s-old-jewellery box appeal engages two audiences: those who love finery, and those that love the past.

While products tent to be heavily feminised at the exhibitions, the toughness and uniqueness of Camilla Skovsgard’s range of accessories really stood out. Shoes adorned and finished with smooth, implausibly delicate fur alluded to power and masculinity, whilst being different, but not too different.

Like Skovgard, Julian Hakes‘ homage to functionality in both material and form were refreshing amongst other glittery and traditionally alluring or glamorous pieces. For example, this watch looks like a half-completed mock-up, but is in fact the finished article, giving the form of the watch new status as jewellery.
